Press Release: Across Illinois, DPI Kicks off Organize Illinois 2026

Springfield, IL — After the official launch of the Democratic Party of Illinois’ coordinated campaign Organize Illinois 2026 this past weekend, Chair Lisa Hernandez released the following statement:
“This past weekend marked the beginning of Organize Illinois 2026—the Democratic Party of Illinois’ coordinated campaign to win up and down the ballot this year. Illinois Democrats rallied, knocked doors, and talked to voters to emphasize that every seat on the ticket counts. By canvassing now—starting early—we will ensure that folks across Illinois understand that Democrats are not sitting on our hands while Republicans try to steer us backward. We’re here to fight for an even better Illinois—and we’re here to win in November.”
