:  Darren Bailey, Illinois Republicans Flock to Republicans’ “Trump-a-Palooza” While Illinois Families Can’t Afford To Pay Their Bills

Springfield, IL — With less than 60 days until the midterm elections, Darren Bailey is  fleeing the state to join Republicans for their “Trump-a-Palooza” in Dallas where they will lick Donald Trump’s boots and rub elbows with the far-right elite they’ve catered to since Day One. Bailey is joined by his running mate Aaron Del Mar, Rep. Mike Bost (IL-12), Illinois Republican Party Chair Chair Bob Grogan, and several Illinois members of the GOP.

Under Trump and Illinois Republicans, the cost of just about everything is soaring, including gas, groceries, utilities, housing, child care, and health care. For Illinois families, every additional dollar they’re forced to spend on higher costs means going into further debt or deciding between putting food on the table, taking their child to the doctor’s office, putting gas in the tank, and paying the bills on time.

This so-called convention only puts a glaring spotlight on just how out of touch Trump and Republicans like Darren Bailey are with people throughout Illinois. But make no mistake: Illinoisans won’t forget the Republicans who sold them out to the highest bidder, and in November, they’re going to hold them accountable for jacking up prices and making life less affordable.
