Springfield, IL — Over the weekend, the Democratic Party of Illinois launched over a dozen events across Illinois to continue hearing from voters 100 days before Election Day. Through its coordinated campaign, Organize Illinois 2026, the Party canvassed in every region of Illinois, hosted a Rockford community health care fair with Lieutenant Governor Juliana Stratton and DPI Vice Chair Maurice West, joined College Democrats for their convention, organized a beach cleanup, and more.
“Over the weekend, we mobilized college and high school Democrats, we held a community cleanup, and canvassed in counties across the state,” said DPI Chair Lisa Hernandez. “This cycle, the Party has put even more of an emphasis on meeting voters where they are.”

Organize Illinois 2026 launched earlier this spring, with the Party organizing, phone-banking, and door-knocking in every region of the state—Chicagoland, Collar Counties, Central Illinois, Northwest Illinois, Southern Illinois and the Metro-East. This coordinated campaign supports Democratic federal, state, and local candidates, mobilizes voters, and engages communities around the issues that matter most in the upcoming election.
