It’s been 36 hours since the Supreme Court draft opinion overturning Roe v. Wade was leaked and Ken Griffin’s handpicked gubernatorial candidate Richard Irvin still refuses to comment.
“Richard Irvin’s refusal to share his position on Roe v. Wade is outrageous”, said Abby Witt, Executive Director of the Democratic Party of Illinois. “Unfortunately, this is a pattern we’re seeing with Irvin: he won’t give answers to simple questions, whether it’s who he voted for in 2020 or whether he believes in a woman’s right to make decisions about her own body without political interference. Illinois voters deserve more than his silent treatment.”
