Request a Vote-by-Mail ballot
Find your election authority via the Illinois State Board of Elections website. If your election authority has an online vote-by-mail application, you will be directed to their website. Otherwise you will be directed to download a file of your election authority’s vote-by-mail application.

Last Date to Submit an Application for Mail-In Ballot
- Mail/Electronic Application: October 31, 2024
- In-Person Application: November 4, 2024
Last Date to Return Mail-In Ballot
- Return via USPS: Must be POSTMARKED by November 5, 2024 (Election Day) and RECEIVED by November 19, 2024
