Yesterday, Democratic Party of Illinois (DPI) Chair Lisa Hernandez was joined by her mother, Juana, to vote early in her hometown of Cicero.
“I was proud to join my mother to vote early in our community,” said DPI Chair Lisa Hernandez. “With just one week left until Election Day, we wanted to make sure voters everywhere know they can take advantage of early voting, an easy, safe way to cast their ballots at a time that works best for them. From Cicero to Champaign, it’s time for voters to get to the polls and make their voices heard!”
Early voting is currently underway across the state. DPI is providing voting assistance through their statewide Voter Protection Hotline, which can be reached by calling or texting (855) IL-VOTES (458-6837), emailing [email protected], or visiting illinoisvotes2022.com.
In the home stretch, DPI is committed to working with officials across the state to ensure a successful election — meaning every eligible person has the opportunity to register and vote in a safe and secure manner, and every ballot cast is counted in a fair and timely manner.
