“Congratulations to Brandon Johnson on his election as the 57th Mayor of Chicago. Thank you to everyone who made their voices heard in this election.
Mayor-elect Johnson has offered his unwavering support to work with the Democratic Party of Illinois, Governor JB Pritzker, and all of our Party stakeholders to help bring the 2024 Democratic National Convention to Chicago. I look forward to continued conversations to make this a reality.
I am wholeheartedly committed to working together, and I eagerly anticipate all that Democrats will accomplish,” DPI Chair Lisa Hernandez said.
